The Snapshot Drag & Drop Uploader provides an enhanced uploader where users can edit file title and description and even edit and annotate png and jpeg images before uploading. Uploadable file types can be configured by file extension and are not limited to just image files, any configured file type can be uploaded.
The snapshot drag & drop tool is opened by clicking the drag & drop button. The the drag & drop icon will go red and the drag & drop tool will immediately open in an overlay.
Simply drag images from your device or PC onto the overlay and they will be shown with associated tool buttons ready for editing or upload. (The tool may also be configured for automatic upload. In this case images are uploaded immediately they are dropped onto the overlay without any opportunity to edit text or image.)
The drag & drop tool is now managed by a combination of a tool buttons associated with each drag-dropped image and a toolbar shown in the overlay. The actual buttons shown depend on how the tool is configured.

Edit image | Open the image in an image editor for adjustment, mark up and annotation. |

Toggle the display of a title and description edit window and the display of a feedback panel confirming image upload or error messages. |
Clear File | Clear the image from the drag & drop overlay. This only clears the image from the overlay. It does not affect any files on the web server. |

Upload the images. Once any edits of the images and associated text are complete, click to upload the images to the web server. | |

Close the current drag & drop tool. The tool can be reopened by clicking the drag & drop button again. This button may also be configured to refresh the page. | |

The image editor opens in a new modal display.
Use the image editor controls to adjust the image, crop to size, add annotations and symbols. All changes can be undone up until you click 'Done'.
When finished, click 'Done' to save edits to the snapped image or 'Cancel' to revert.
